2009 when it was The Dead.Warren Haynes convinced me he could play w/ anyone or any band .They opened w/ U.S.Blues and all I remember is that the drums were miked extremely well.I left before the encore.After seeing multiple New Years Eve shows,Winterland, Oakland Colosium.Kaiser Aud, Oakland Arena,G.G.PARK,The Orpheum,The Warfield,Spectrum,
MSG,Fillmore East,Spartan Stadium how could anyone ever try to compare what I saw in 2009 to what I saw from the 70s on.You can't, even the shows I documented as garbage still meant more then a money making venture of The Dead.very dissapointing.
